On a trip to the United States, at the age of nine he became acquainted with the Delta Blues by the Mississipi. It impressed him so much that when he finally got a guitar years later he lazily dedicated himself to learning to play the Blues. And also through his brother's tapes he learned about some of the Rock staples and through movies a whole different kinds of music. Once more he went to the States to breathe the air of the Blues and feed on its spirit. After spending some time in the Delta he went to Chicago to see the electric side of things. There he met Shane "Mac" Andrew, an old blues hermit who would name him "Steady Fingers" for the lack of speed in his playing.

For a role in a feature length movie he put on some weight which he still hasn't been able to get rid of. Never mind losing any weight, he even put on more. Unfortunately the movie literally went up in smokes when the studio was destroyed in a fire.

Apart from a rare jingle or two, he has composed music for short films: "Pulpa" by Ay_e Ünal, "Centenary""and "Dormant" by Michael Onder, and some additional music for a feature film: "Should I Really Do It?" by 0smail Necmi. His production of his song "Wrong Side of The Road" with Can Göksun on vocals and Erdem Tarabu_ on keys was featured in the 2011 movie "Kaybedenler Kulübü" and its soundtrack.

When performing he prefers not to form any contact with the audience which has caused him to be known as an aggressively asocial and remote person whereas he's a sociaphobe and a compulsive liar. You have been warned.

Occasionally you can find him performing with 'electricBlue' or 'Band of Brothers', both cover bands. He's also a temporary guitar player for The Free Licks, a pretentious mid-life crisis rock band.

The music videos for 96 Miles and Goodnight My Love were done by Michael Onder and Co Amado. Music video for Just Another Day by Michael Onder.

"Memo A La Jim" and "Dance Funqy" are composed by Mehmet Demirta_ who also sings and performs on the latter.

All music, lyrics and arrangements by SteadyFingers except where mentioned otherwise.

>>SteadyFingers.com <<
